Our Assistant Principal

Jessica Marek

I have been in education for 16 years.  I have experience teaching high school, middle school, and elementary school. I've been with GISD for 10 years teaching at Cooper for 5 years, serving as the Assistant Principal at Wolf Ranch Elementary and the Principal at Williams Elementary.  I'm very excited about joining the Ford family and being a support for the staff, students, and families.  I love spending time with my family at our home in the country.  This summer, my husband Dale and I will celebrate 12 years of marriage.  I have 2 bonus children, Colten and Cheyenne (who are both married), and 2 rugrats of my own- Sydney who is 9 and will join me at Ford, and Luke who is 4 years old.  I'm also a proud Lolli of Westin, my 1 year old grandson. Fun fact: I was a dance teacher for 15 years.  Let's do this Ford!!
