Hello my name is Rachel Esquivel . This will be my 17th year of teaching Kindergarten. I am starting my 8th year at Ford Elementary and I am proud to be a Ford Mustang.  Kindergarten is where my heart is ! I love the "Aha" moments and seeing the growth that your child will make during the year. 

I grew up in Mertzon, Texas , a very small town (right outside San Angelo) and graduated from Tarleton State University in Stephenville.  

My husband Jerry is also in Education. He is a Coach and the BCS Teacher at Benold.

We have 2 sons, Jayden 14 & Riley 11.  We have lived in Georgetown since 2017 after moving from Stephenville where we lived for 11 years. Some of my favorite things are spending time with my family, taking walks with our dog Jasper, watching football (we are big football fans) , watching our oldest play basketball & reading  books. 

We have a sweet dog Jasper that we adopted in 2022. He loves going for a ride in our golf cart, taking walks with me, and loves to snuggle with anyone who has a blanket. 

I am excited about our new year together in Kindergarten and look forward to getting to know you.

Howdy!! My name is Paula Kemp and this is my first year at Ford and my first year in Kindergarten. I am from San Antonio, TX but I also call College Station, TX my second hometown! After graduating high school I attended Texas A&M University. I graduated with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am certified to teach PK-6. I spent my first 2 years of teaching at Cooper Elementary here in Georgetown. My first year was teaching 3rd grade ELA and my second year I taught 1st grade. I loved first grade, but I knew I wanted to get closer to kid's first experience of school. I love seeing the lightbulb come on when they learn something new! Outside of school, I love to spend time with friends and family and my sweet dogs. I also enjoy traveling and trying new things. My weekends usually consist of visiting family or relaxing at home with a cup of coffee and cooking shows. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we willl be celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary this year in November.  I can't wait to see what this year brings and I am so excited to be here at Ford! It's amazing here!!! MUSTANG PRIDE Y'ALL!!!!!
