The Intervention Services at Ford Elementary include support in reading and math. Services are delivered in small groups with a certified teacher during grade level intervention times. Learners are identified for Intervention Services with collaboration between classroom teachers, administration, and the intervention staff.
My name is Jodi Conrad and I am the K-5th grade reading and math intervention teacher at Ford Elementary! I work with small groups of students to build their literacy and math knowledge. This is my 35th year of teaching. I have taught first and second grades, Reading Recovery, and this will be my 13th year as an intervention teacher at Ford. I have worked at Ford since the school opened in August 2003! I LOVE working with children and have a passion for teaching that began as a child! Being a Literacy/Math Intervention teacher allows me to work with many children at different grade levels—supporting their needs in both reading and math. My husband Bob and I live in Georgetown. Mr. Conrad is a World History teacher at Round Rock High School. We have two grown sons--Matt and Sam--who both went to Ford Elementary. We have two cats- Pixie and Posie. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, working in the yard, taking walks, and READING!
